On a recent cruise in Norway, I was mesmerized with the abstract patterns made by the wake of the boat merging with the reflection of a mountainous shoreline. As photography offers the challenge of seeing ordinary subjects in a fresh perspective, I found the shapes and textures of images in the water to be almost magical.
