Moments pass by so quickly. A moment can be less than one blink or somewhat longer, if time allows. A photographer must be ready for those moments. Stark contrast between shapes and light are some of my interests in photography. The diptych presented here, the sides of a building where I worked as an undergrad, is from my very early days as a striving photographer in the early 1970s. Originally my desire was to be a documentary photographer, wanting to capture life happening around me. Today I still view photography as a documentation of what is before us, just that subjects have changed.
