Water is intriguing. In Minnesota we see so many forms of it - ice, snow, rain, sleet, hail. Of course, lakes and rivers can create, destroy, nurture, soothe and mesmerize. These images were taken within moments of each other. As light interacts with the water reflecting and refracting, it is the intersection of abstraction and realism. As a new photographer, I love to look into this intersection and the creative opportunities it provides.
